Commercial Insurance Division Account Executive
Todd Peters is a Commercial Insurance Division Account Executive for Harden, one of the Southeast’s leading insurance, risk management and employee benefits firms. In his role, Todd is responsible for providing daily management of the client support team, facilitating the development, documentation and execution of the Client Objective Support Plan, assuring the integrity of client data, promoting proactive client communications, and maintaining positive client relationships. In addition, he is responsible for the allocation of Harden resources, and is accountable to you for the performance of underwriting and other third party service providers.
Prior to joining Harden, Todd worked at Jeff Evans Insurance Agency in Uniontown, OH, as a Commercial Lines Account Executive, where he handled all aspects of the agency’s commercial book of business, analyzed clients’ needs, evaluated providers, and assisted in making recommendations regarding coverage, appropriate levels of self-insurance and other risk management techniques. Prior to that, he worked at Schauer Group, Inc. in Canton, OH, as a Commercial Lines Account Executive, where he worked with clients with multi-state and foreign operations, including schools, hospitals, manufacturers, and attorney and accounting firms. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Todd worked in the mortage/banking industry for five years.
Todd studied Business Administration at Stark State College of Technology, and Math and Statistics at the University of Akron. Todd currently holds a Florida General Lines (2-20) Insurance License. He has obained his Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is currently working toward his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Todd was very involved in his community in Ohio. He was a member of the Massillon Rotary, a Board Member for the Massillon Boys & Girls Club, the Treasurer for the Massillon City Schools Levy Campaign Committee, and a member of the Committee to review Massillon City School finances.
