Chief Information Officer
John Mallinger is the Corporate Support Division Chief Information Officer for Harden, one of the Southeast’s leading insurance, risk management, and employee benefits firms. In his role, John is responsible for allocating, aligning, optimizing and managing information technology resources, investments, and processes in support of Harden’s mission, vision, and values. In addition, John identifies opportunities to enhance Harden’s value proposition and its organizational productivity.
Prior to joining Harden in 2018, John was the Chief Information Officer for ACCC Insurance where he was responsible for the IT strategy and oversight of security, infrastructure, IT operations, and project management. Before ACCC, John held executive IT roles with Tokio Marine HCC and Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America where he was responsible for enterprise IT across the global organizations.
John holds a Masters of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University and as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University. Additionally, John possesses certification from the CIO Institute at the University of California Berkeley.
An active member of the community, John has worked with USA Swimming and the Grand Lakes Swim Team for the last 20 years.
