Senior Vice President, Commerical Insurance Division Account Director
Dan Dieterle is a Senior Vice President and Commercial Insurance Account Director for Harden. Dan is responsible for developing a consultative and collaborative relationship with new and existing clients. His focus is on defining strategic client objectives and organizing the support services necessary to achieve measurable results for his clients. In addition to a deep understanding of large commercial accounts, Dan is a leader in the unique needs of the healthcare industry and works with over 1,000 private practicing physicians. He leads client development in Harden’s Healthcare Practice Unit.
Dan joined Harden in 1989 as an Account Director and became a shareholder of the firm in 1997. Throughout the progression of his career, he has become a recognized authority in providing creative solutions to the complexities of large commercial accounts and has been the largest producing Account Director in the Harden commercial insurance division for over 20 years. Before joining Harden, Dan was Vice President of Marketing for Florida Physicians Insurance Company and was involved in the rehabilitation of that firm. Prior to that, Dan was with the Travelers Insurance Company as a Commercial and Life Insurance Marketing Representative.
A graduate of Florida State University, Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance. Dan is an active speaker and advocate for the specific needs of the healthcare industry. He holds his Florida General Lines (2-20) and Life, Health and Variable Annuities (2-15) licenses.
Dan is an involved community steward, participating in such initiatives as the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, where he was a founding member of the Small Business Referral Network. Dan is a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Deerwood, a board member and Past President of Deerwood Country Club, Past President of Volunteer Jacksonville, Past President of Deerwood Improvement Association, and has volunteered with THE PLAYERS Championship.
