Financial Analyst - Jacksonville, Florida
The Financial Analyst will work directly with the CEO, COO and Senior Leadership in financial planning, strategic analysis, benchmarking, budgeting and forecasting to assist in maximizing EBITDA.
Process:

Prepare budgeting, trending and forecasting models
-
Perform cost and variance analysis
-
Conduct research for industry trends and benchmarks
-
Make comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determine trends
-
Provide input on policies and procedures to streamline business processes
-
Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of organization as needed

Development of presentations to various constituents
Competencies:
-
A good working knowledge of Financial Statements
-
Overall business intelligence and business analytical skills (data mining, statistical and predictive analysis, benchmarking)

Ability to work with structured and unstructured data sources (MS SQL, Dbase, Excel)
-
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
-
Advanced skills in Excel

Web based research abilities
-
High level of organization and planning skills

Attention to detail
