The Account Director will retain and originate new commercial insurance opportunities. They will analyze and understand key success drivers in a broad range of businesses. Diagnose, interpret and identify client objectives. Facilitate development of solutions.  They will also develop and build long-term relationships and make effective presentations to new prospects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Risk Management/Insurance or related field of study
  • Florida Life/Health/Variable Annuity (2-15) license will be required
  • Minimum 5 years of professional/technical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales/new business development experience
  • Self-starter and self-motivated

Marketing Account Manager - Jacksonville, Florida

Key Responsibilities

Work with Account Directors and Account Executives in a team environment.  Participate with the commercial insurance account team to perform client risk analysis, design program structure, develop and communicate program alternatives, and manage relationship with designated underwriting facilities. Research new and emerging markets.

Minimum Qualifications

College degree preferred. Florida licensure will be required. Minimum of 3 - 5 years commercial property and casualty insurance experience and minimum 3 years underwriting experience.

A strong working knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance coverage, products and usages is essential along with an ability to interpret contract provisions. Understanding of direct, wholesale, specialty and alternative insurance markets needed. Organizational and time management skills required for meeting submission time standards.

High level of problem solving and thoroughness to identify and document solutions. Demonstrated presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to achieve unique client objectives. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, carriers, and associates at all levels of responsibility.

Work with Account Directors and Account Executives in a team environment.  Interact with commercial property and casualty clients to provide daily program servicing and client relationship management.  Participate with the account team to conduct exposure analysis, risk assessments, program audits, and coverage analysis.  Coordinate the communication of program alternatives and manage the underwriting submission process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

The Account Assistant will provide daily program management and documentation; maintain accurate and complete client data; and provide responsive communication to client and underwriting facilities. The Account Assistant will be responsible for an assigned book of business with up to $10,000 in premiums.

Minimum Qualifications

College degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required. Florida Customer Representative (4-40) is required; Florida General Lines (2-20) will be required. Minimum of 1-year property and casualty experience is required.
